Obverse:Draped bust of Vesta veiled left, kylix behind and letter before.
Reverse:Voter moving left, dropping a tablet inscribed V into a cista, with legend LONGIN. III. V. downwards behind.
Reference:Crawford 413/1; Babelon Cassia 10. Grade: F.
Comments: This type commemorates the passing of the Lex Cassia tabellaria, a law relating to the method of voting, which was proposed in 137 BC by L. Cassius Ravilla. The mark V stood for VTI ROGAS, a favorable vote.
